hi chuck...not sure how to get to you to comment on your comment on buckley...with which i agree for the most part...
but i hope you caught my most serious crit9icism of his sucess in creating the modern u.s. conservative movement...
he raised the issue of politics to a level of high principles...conservativism and liberalism...and in that pr ocess he has made the grease of representative democracy...compromising...close to impossible...
plus he has been followed not only by conservative thinkers but also by narrow minded and angry elected representatives of a doctrinaire thinking ...
How the hell to respond to some bloggers who comment on my st uff eludes me still...i tried to find one person but could not get to her site...
