check out the kindle 2 on amazon. definitely the future of book reading.
the book is very efficient tho it takes enormous resources to produce and transport. electronic books are environmentally friendly. plus the kindle has built in dictionary and built in note taker. a pleasure to hold and the screen excellent.
it's expensive but it's new. when books first appeared only the very wealthy could afford to own them.
also, any author can publish his tome to kindle, for free
